Slovakia-Finland-Latvia-Serbia: 2nd rehearsal (videos)

SLOVAKIA

Slovakia’s Kristina brings her forest fairytale on the stage and creates a very green world full of leaves. This is one of the few ethnic flavoured songs in the contest and will have its fans, but will Kristina’s vocals be strong enough on the night to put the song through?

FINLAND

The setting for Finland’s Kuunkuiskaajat is as blue as the previous one is green. Another song with ethnic flavour again. All the artists are in white and natural linen. The band members also carry traditional Kalevala jewellery.  This happy song with Slavic and gypsy flavours and handclaps seems to put a smile on everybody’s faces here in Oslo, which should look promising for eventual qualification.

LATVIA

Aisha sings for Latvia in a beige dress and very high heels that we see now for the first time. Backing singers are in black and do a little dance routine behind Aisha. The set is dark blue. The song about fundamental questions about life and death is very catchy, but will the viewers and juries punish Latvia for the sometimes uneven vocals by withholding their votes?

SERBIA

Serbian Milan and his team now also wear their stage clothes, which are blue and pink. They all have pink or purple shoes. The song combines traditional Balkan sounds to a modern stage setting with some street dance moves. Milan sings the song well and will be noticed and remembered by the viewers and jurors not only for his individual looks.
