Radio International with A.Rybak, F.Fanielo, Hera Bjork and others

Radio International invites you to the 24th edition in 2010. The Show is broadcast on 106.8FM in the Netherlands and also via the internet via www.radiointernational.tk and will also be web-televised via  www.oikotimes.com linking up the European Eurovision fans and friends and play your requests and read out your messages on air. The simulcast will be from 2000 – 2300 hours.

Highlights of this week’s show:

Interview with Fabrizio Faniello: News has reached Radio International on the brand new release of the new song of Malta’s Fabrizio Faniello who represented his country at the Eurovision Song Contests 2001 (“Another Summer Night”, Number 9) and 2006 (“I do”, Number 24). After some years of absence from the music scene Fabrizio is back with his brand new offering called “I no can do”. Radio International is happy to announce an interview we have scheduled with the singer live during our radio show this week. During the show and the interview  listeners are kindly encouraged to send in their questions they have to Fabrizio and we are more than happy to ask them to Fabrizio.

EUROVISION 2010 – We Shared the Moment:  Radio International will be assessing the Eurovision Song Contest with our regular Eurovision Experts and of course play your favourites throughout the show. Also there will be interviews to come with the Eurovision performers. This week experience the way Ross Bennett has experienced the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest and he will be giving us his assessment of this year’s edition.

Eurovision 2010 Interview Hera Bjoerk (Iceland 2010): Iceland’s entry “Je ne sais quoi” was performed by the great Hera Björk and reached an unexpected 19th place in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Last weekend Hera was special guest on the annual Eurovision Convention 2010 of the Dutch Eurovision Artists Foundation. JP went and also had the big pleasure to interview the “Icelandic Volcano” on the experience at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.  You can hear that interview in this week’s edition of the show.

Interview with the 2009 Winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest: Ralf Mackenbach won the Junior edition of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 for the Netherlands. Ralf was also at the annual convention of the Eurovision Artists Foundation last weekend in Utrecht, The Netherlands, as a special surprise guest. He performed his winning entry of course called “Click Clack”. JP also had the pleasure to interview him after his performance at the convention. And you can hear this interview in the show this week as well.

Eurovision Interview with Alexander Rybak (Norway 2009):  The Winner of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest – Alexander Rybak – was also present in Oslo to brief the international media on his success and to introduce the trophy of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest which he handed over to Lena Mayer-Landrut from Germany who won the contest for Germany. JP took the chance of a quick interview to find out more about his upcoming projects and album.

Eurovision Song Contest News with Luke Fisher:  Check out the latest development connected to the Eurovision Song Contest. Whether it is music releases of Eurovision performers, special concerts, gossip, etc Luke will have it for us during the weekly edition of Radio International.

Your 3 Minutes of Fame on Radio International:  We would also like to know from you your first Eurovision Experience either live in a Final of the Eurovision Song Contest or watching at home or during a Eurovision party. Tell us how you found out about the Eurovision Song Contest. What special things do you remember, liked, disliked and of course your favourite Eurovision Song.
